Turn up the heat on your basic denim in this upcycling workshop where you will learn several techniques and tips to transform a pair of jeans.
In small group setting, I will guide you from start to finish in methods to appliqué, patchwork, upsize or turn you denim pants into a skirt. Materials will be provided and we will be working sustainably with primarily second hand/reuse supplies. A variety of fabrics, denim scraps trims and embellishments will be available for you to explore your creativity.
This workshop is recommended for beginners with some experience using a sewing machine.
This workshop will take place in person on Friday May 3rd from 6pm-9pm at Emotion Potion, located at 591 Guerrero St in San Francisco.
*Please provide your denim waist size in the notes section at checkout. Please note that you will be guided in ttechniques to make fit and sizing adjustments to the jeans during the workshop.
