Vida Vazquez Studio is a line that celebrates authentic beauty through vibrant and playful handmade jewelry, wearables, and art for the home.  All hand constructed myself in my Oakland home studio, I work with a variety of materials including polymer clay, brass, natural gemstones and reworked vintage. A practicing painter, my affinity for tropical color palettes is a recurring theme throughout my collections.

I am a San Francisco native of Afro-Cuban and Jewish American heritage. Femininity, the subconscious, nature and cultural identity are themes I explore in my work.

I have been a featured artist at Galeria de la Raza in San Francisco, the ‘Nasty Women Oakland Exhibition 2017’ at Omi Gallery, and have been an artisan vendor with the Oakland Museum of California as well as various local events.

My jewelry is currently available to shop at Kostum on Piedmont boutique in Oakland.

My intention for my jewelry is for the wearer to feel their most authentic, empowered and beautiful version of themselves.
